The International Day of the Icelandic Horse is just around the corner! On May 1st, members of the Icelandic horse community the world over will celebrate the Icelandic horse, open their doors to the public and teach everyone about the qualities of this wonderful horse breed. 
 
 
Icelandic horse owners are encouraged to organise an Open House at their stables and invite their family and friends – especially those unfamiliar with the breed – along for a short visit or even a daylong ride to experience the magic of the Icelandic horse.
